The Digital Age Academy program was an amazing experience that allowed me to learn new skills and helped me meet new mentors. I was able to gain new knowledge using the 4 courses: statistics, collaborative tools, data analysis, and problem-solving. These courses introduced me to new topics such as python and statistics, which helped me discover new career opportunities and earn new useful skills that I found to be very useful in projects I currently work on. This program has also introduced me to a group of experienced mentors in their career and life, which I found to be an inspiration that I plan to use in building my future career. On the other hand, my most memorable experience is working with my group on our E-Commerce project, "Customer Retention". This experience was very memorable because I got to use all the skills and topics I learned throughout the program into one amazing presentation.

The amount of support I've experienced from my Mentor, Dr. Ali Mostashari, and the Digital Age Academy community is beyond anything I could imagine.
While working in the Health Informatics project, I was able to apply the social and technical skills I learned from the four mini-courses taught by the DAA staff. Thanks to Digital Age Academy I have expanded my knowledge on the digital world and have walked away with new tools for my toolbox.

Being in the Digital Age Academy Pilot Program allowed me to think deeper into concepts I once ignored in the past. It provided me with a visual presentation of how the world works and how individuals with multiple resources at their arsenal are the ones recognized by their society, companies, and even their own nations. The program set off with mini courses such as Productivity and Collaborative tools which instructs students on how to access and use these varying digital tools to organize a set of data. Statistics and Probability which analyzes certain situations to help determine the possibility of a certain event occurring as well as the use of numerical percentages from data sets to arrive at a conclusion. Data Analysis in Python which compares and examines those different sets of data to justify the presented conclusion. And Problem Solving which compiles all the accumulated sets of data to reach a possible solution. And it is with the knowledge from these courses that one can truly begin to understand concepts regarding finance, entertainment analytics, health informatics, electronic commerce and so many more.

The Digital Age Academy program has given me both insight into various STEM careers and vital skills used in those professions. The program was easy to implement into my busy schedule and was effective in assigning asynchronous lessons that were manageable and informative. The distribution of the four mini-courses was in a way that made them very digestible and in-depth. Taking a challenging course such as statistics along with collaborative tools and python with problem-solving made sure the workload wasn't overburdening while maintaining their effectiveness. As for the mini-project, it was a very insightful experience as I've applied and learned new and old skills, both in new aspects. The mini-project also offered a great deal of mentoring which my group and I found very helpful when it came to grasping new concepts and looking for points of interest in our sample data set. The mini-project was especially helpful in understanding the field of e-commerce from the viewpoint of a customer and data analyst. I learned to look from both perspectives to find the most realistic solution in terms of making business decisions. Overall, the digital age academy offered a range of skills and experiences that can be applied in the career path I intended to pursue and has given me insight as to what I can expect in the workforce.
